Peer Review Process
Journal of Leading Innovations in Science and Technology (JLISNT)
The Journal of Leading Innovations in Science and Technology (JLISNT) follows a rigorous Double-Blind Peer-Review process to ensure the publication of high-quality and original
research. In this system, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed from each other throughout the review process.
The journal is committed to fairness, confidentiality, and academic integrity in evaluating all submitted manuscripts.
1. Initial Manuscript Screening (Editorial Check)
After submission, the manuscript is first evaluated by the Editorial Office to ensure that it:
* Falls within the journal’s scope
* Follows author guidelines and formatting requirements
* Contains complete author details and affiliations
* Includes abstract, keywords, and references
* Meets basic English language standards
Plagiarism Check
All submissions are screened using plagiarism-detection software (e.g., Turnitin/iThenticate).
* Manuscripts with high similarity will be rejected or returned for revision before peer
review.
Manuscripts that pass the editorial screening are forwarded for peer review.
2. Double-Blind Peer Review
Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent expert reviewers in the relevant research field.
In the double-blind system:
* Reviewers do not know the identity of the authors.
* Authors do not know the identity of the reviewers.
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:
* Originality and novelty
* Technical quality and methodology
* Clarity of presentation
* Validity of results and conclusions
* Relevance to the journal scope
* Adequacy of references and literature review
3. Reviewer Recommendations
Reviewers provide one of the following recommendations:
* Accept without changes
* Minor revision
* Major revision
* Reject
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on reviewer comments and recommendations.
4. Revision Process
If revisions are required:
* Authors must revise the manuscript and submit a point-by-point response to
reviewers’ comments.
* Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the original reviewers for re-evaluation.
Failure to submit revisions within the specified time may lead to rejection.
5. Final Decision
The final decision categories are:
* Accepted
* Accepted after revision
* Rejected
The editorial decision is communicated to the corresponding author via official email.
6. Publication Timeline (Typical)
* Initial screening: 5–7 days
* Peer review: 2–4 weeks
* Revision period: 1–3 weeks
* Final decision: 4–6 weeks from submission
(The journal does not guarantee acceptance within a fixed number of days to maintain review quality.)
7. Confidentiality
All manuscripts are treated as confidential documents. Editors and reviewers:
* Do not share manuscripts with third parties
* Do not use unpublished material for personal research
8. Conflict of Interest
Editors and reviewers must decline handling a manuscript if any conflict of interest exists with the authors, institution, or funding agency.
9. Ethical Review Standards
The journal follows internationally accepted ethical review standards. Reviewers are
expected to:
* Provide objective and constructive feedback
* Avoid personal criticism
* Report suspected plagiarism or misconduct
